Introduction
That's it, you are doing great. You can close and keep your eyes comfortably closed, and focus on the sound of this voice, while your body gets even more loose, limp, and relaxed, floating, drifting, deeper down with every breath, as we spend a little more time leaning the hypnotic state.
You don’t have to try, just allow yourself to go with the flow of your breathing, because your body can breathe for you, and you can decide to breathe, so take in a conscious deeper breath. Breathing in... for a few seconds... and breathe out, release and let go. You can decide to breathe, but soon you will forget to consciously breathe and relax because your subconscious mind will continue to breathe for you.

Because, as you have learned today, your subconscious mind is looking out for you by running your Automatic Pilot Bodily Processes, so you can appreciate your nose knows how to breathe for you.
And your subconscious mind can be like an auto-pilot that can drive you places without really trying. Though sometimes this takes us to places we are used to going to, instead of new places we decide we want to go now and in the future.
You have seen that your mind can respond to suggestions so that it affects your physical body, like your fingers can twitch, and your hands can move as you imagine the balloon and bucket.
So you learned your subconscious imagination can work for you now. Your inner images can create changes that impact your physical world as you give yourself permission to use your imagination.
Get A Verbal Response
You can be in hypnosis whether you are sitting or standing, even while driving, and whether you are speaking or silent.
Your heart knows how to send loving energy through your body, whether you are waking or sleeping. Your dreaming mind can see images and feel emotions.
So if you use your imagination to find or create a feeling of calm, clarity, or peace for you, in a word or two, what would that color be?
That's great, let that color of _____ soak and saturate through your whole body, with every breath. So you also learn that by speaking you can go deeper into the good feeling of hypnosis, by going with the stream of consciousness of whatever comes to mind.
So you can let me know, as I've been saying these words:

a) How have you been feeling in the body – heavy, floating, warm, tingling, peaceful, calm, what is it for you?

b) What thoughts, images, or feelings, if any, have been coming up?
That's great. Whatever it is, we can find out more about it, and go deeper into it next time when we can go quicker, deeper, and easier into a hypnotic state.
Get An Ideomotor Response
For now, we can do one last exercise to learn more about hypnosis and your subconscious mind. Sometimes, as you are in hypnosis, your body can feel so deeply relaxed it's harder to move the muscles to speak out loud, but you can.
You can speak verbally. And you can witness yourself as you communicate whatever comes up from your subconscious mind. And you can give a twitch which lets me know you're following the instructions.
So to let me know you can follow what I'm saying, you can give a little twitch with that finger on your left hand. (Or the hand you have a good view of.)
Or you can nod your head or whisper to say "yes." Notice how you don't have to try to move or wiggle the finger—just relax and think "yes," and allow that finger to twitch for "yes" on its own. That's great.
Fractionation
In a moment, I will count from 1 to 4 and when I get to 4, and not before, slowly try to open your eyes. Then I will snap my fingers and you can close your eyes and go deeper.
1, 2, 3, 4. Try to open your eyes. Snap. Wave your hand down above their face. Eyes closed and go deeper.
This time at 2 and the eyes can slowly open, and at 3 I’ll snap and you can close your eyes and go deeper.

Convincer - Eyelid Catalepsy
Eyelids Sealed Shut
“Notice the weight of your body. Notice how your eyelids feel heavier and heavier. So you could play a game and imagine that your eyelids could be sealed shut, merging and melding, so they just won’t work.
You know that feeling when you’ve just woken up from a heavy sleep, and your eyes feel sealed shut, merging and melding, so you enter that half-asleep snooze.
Find that part of your mind that doesn’t mind to use your inner eye to imagine and feel those tiny eyelid muscles are safe to switch off, so your eyelids can feel that pleasant indulgent sense that you can snooze and drift and daydream, and make it so, your eyelids can find that place of being switched off now."
Test
If you tried to test to have those eyes not be shut tight, you’d find that they just lock and stick more. Try now to see what happens. And find, the harder you try, the more difficult it becomes. Maybe you try by pulling at your forehead and eyebrows.

Good, this shows you can experience eyelid catalepsy, a sign of hypnosis, which means that you know your eyelids aren’t literally sealed shut, yet they can feel and act as if they are because you accepted hypnotic suggestions. This means you can continue to accept hypnotic suggestions that can make changes, and will benefit you in the future.
Emerging
You've done great for today. You've learned a lot about the subconscious. You've heard, seen, felt, and experienced how hypnotic states are a part of daily life, and a state you can choose to experience.
So you've done great for now. We can continue to learn more, and go quicker, deeper, and easier into a hypnotic state next time we meet.
So now I’ll count you up to 5, and at 5 you’ll come back fully into the moment, feeling good.
